These Blue Slate chippings 20mm are a crushed decorative Welsh slate. Darker in appearance than the plum and very popular for use on garden drives and for mulching between plants.
Slate is a very adaptable and beautiful addition to any garden to add interest and contrast. Works well in Oriental style gardens as the colour compliments the planting scheme, also good when used for marginal planting around ponds and water features as the slate really glistens when wet. Good for ground cover to help retain moisture and suppress weeds, can also be used on both indoor and outdoor pots to enhance the planting within and retain moisture.
